Originally an engineer, I have started and run several companies in my life. My journey has led me from online marketing, e-learning, sustainable packaging, mobility innovation and most recently to financial technology. I built up Scorable from from zero to one and merged it in early 2021 with an Israeli Fintech. Ever since then I have been very curious to solve some of the many unsolved pain points in the last mile delivery space and am determined to bring state of the art experiences that are already common place in Fintech also to the world of parcel deliveries. Together with Freddy I decided to re-imagine e-commerce delivery experiences for the better and for good.
While a physicist by training, I have spent the last decade in the transportation and logistics sector, partially as a consultant to the market leaders in the space, partially building logistics tech ventures (e.g. check out Twill) from scratch. I have witnessed many last mile pain points from the carrier perspective and a large part of my motivation to build karla draws upon the shortcomings of the incumbents. They are not going to innovate to change the game, trust me! Timing for organizing the world's deliveries is now as e-commerce is at an inflection point and will only grow faster...
